By accessing and using FireAssistIQ Pro ("the Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provisions of this agreement. If you do not agree to these Terms and Conditions, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

FireAssistIQ Pro provides a cloud-based job management system for fire safety engineers and companies. The Service includes features for:

  • Creating and managing fire safety service jobs
  • Uploading and storing job-related photos
  • Generating and sending PDF reports
  • Managing client site information
  • Maintaining compliance records
  • Mobile technician app for field work
  • Customer portal access

3. User Accounts

You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
  • All activities that occur under your account
  • Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use
  • Ensuring your account information is accurate and up-to-date

4. Subscription and Pricing

Our pricing is based on a per-technician model:

  • Tech Only: £49.99 per technician per month
  • Professional: £99/month base + £49.99 per technician
  • Enterprise: £199/month base + £49.99 per technician

All plans include a 14-day free trial. Prices are subject to change with 30 days notice.

5. Data Storage and Privacy

We store your data securely using Firebase services:

  • Your data is stored in secure cloud infrastructure
  • We implement industry-standard security measures
  • Company data is isolated and not accessible to other companies
  • We do not access, view, or share your data without your explicit consent
  • You retain ownership of all data you upload to the Service

6. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Use the Service only for lawful purposes
  • Not upload malicious code or harmful content
  • Not attempt to breach security or access unauthorized data
  • Ensure accuracy of information entered into the Service
  • Comply with all applicable fire safety regulations and standards
  • Not use the Service to violate any third-party rights

7. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by FireAssistIQ Pro and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You retain all rights to the data and content you upload to the Service.

8. Service Availability

We strive to provide reliable service, but:

  • We do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the Service
  • Scheduled maintenance may temporarily limit availability
  • We are not liable for service interruptions beyond our control
  • We recommend maintaining local backups of critical data

9. Data Backup and Loss

While we implement regular backups, you are responsible for maintaining your own backups of critical data. We are not liable for any data loss or corruption.

10. Third-Party Services

The Service uses third-party services including:

  • Firebase (Google) for hosting and data storage
  • EmailJS for email delivery

These services have their own terms and conditions which you also agree to by using our Service.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, FireAssistIQ Pro shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from your use of the Service.

12. Professional Compliance

Important: This Service is a tool to assist with job management and documentation. It does not replace professional judgment, training, or compliance with fire safety regulations. Users remain solely responsible for ensuring their work meets all applicable standards and regulations including BS 5839 and BS 5266.

13. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service:

  • For violations of these Terms and Conditions
  • For fraudulent or illegal activity
  • Upon your request
  • For non-payment

Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately. You may request export of your data within 30 days of termination.

14. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of any material changes via email or through the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

15. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
